OfficeMax Rebrand 2010

"Work with Us" serves to distinguish and elevate OfficeMax from its competitors. The category has been defined by advertising that has tended to trivialize something that is actually very important: American business. Their competitors seem oblivious to the very real challenges business face every day. OfficeMax will be the first brand in the category to offer the hand of partnership to business in its communications.

Starting in January 2010, this new tagline, Work With Us, will be supported with a TV, Radio and Online campaign. It will remind consumers that an economic recovery is indeed happening and it recognizes our business target's crucial role in helping it along. It will seek to infect their collective psyche with the good news and business success stories that will uplift and inspire. And it will include real life proof that things are indeed looking up. The future is bright. The only way is up. It's an approach that our business target will immediately recognize and embrace, because confidence and optimism is the DNA of every successful business.
